First and foremost, I would like to say thank you, thank you, thank you. The MYSP award has helped me tremendously. Receiving this award allows me to focus more on my career as well as my current and future goals. It saddens me to say, without this award, more than likely I would not have been able to finish my degree. Unfortunately, I do not receive financial aid so paying out of pocket and student loans places a huge burden on myself. When I was paying out of pocket, I could only afford to take one class at a time so I began loosing hope; as it seemed as if I would never finish. Receiving the MYSP award placing me ten steps closer to fulfilling my goals of helping our inner city children. Again thank you.
